About Us

MacFarlane's is a family run business and has been providing top quality garden products since 1921.  More than just a Garden Centre, we also have a large restaurant that can accommodate 140 people offering home cooking, using local produce where possible.  This is open all year round and specialises in cream teas and is an ideal place to relax with a coffee and a bite to eat after browsing our large site.

The renowned "World of Butterflies" is a treat not to be missed and is the only one of its kind for miles around.  Let the kids loose to enjoy this magical and educational world.

The Garden Centre specialises in a wide range of trees, including unusual varieties and mature container-grown shrubs, conifers and herbaceous plants, herbs, alpines and roses.

We also boast an extensive showroom with plant displays, garden supplies, landscaping items, pond and water features as well as garden furniture, log cabins and garden buildings.
